  • About Us
We are a military simulation woodsball team based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. When not playing paintball, we can be found Geocaching, fishing, playing pool, having family BBQs, as well as supporting local businesses and charities. On the paintball field, we are ambassadors of the sport and proudly own the field. We can also be found assisting in functions with the staff and owners of our home field, Weekend Warriors.

The Crimson Sabres - "More than a woodsball team..."

The Crimson Sabres are primarily a paintball team focusing on military simulation (MilSim) and scenario style woodsball.  But the team is far more than that.  Things you will find the Sabres doing are:

  • Participating in charity and sponsor-oriented events as either participants or volunteers
  • Refereeing and working at various paintball events
  • Attending team BBQs
  • Camping
  • Various other team rel-action (relaxation) events and outings

The Sabres also sport a Team Support Group (TSG) of non-active fighters and volunteers who are a part of the team but aren't part of the fighting corp.  The TSG aids the team both on and off the field and performs work such as photography and multimedia services, camp control and operations, medical services, and so forth.

The Sabres also have a Junior member squad called the Sabre Cadets.  This youth program is for the children of active members 10 years of age and older.  The Sabre cadets support the TSG and are also involved with limited paintball training and play to expose them safely to the sport and to have fun.

What the Crimson Sabres offer...

The Crimson Sabres train leaders and develop the individual.   We invest in our players and seek to develop skills that are just as useful off the field as they are on the field.  Players learn teamwork, leadership, and motivation and get lots of opportunity to practice.  And above all we offer a lot of fun and laughs to our players.

We also offer a realistic and intense approach to mil-sim style paintball.  We have a ranking system and defined positions on the team.  We don't use random call signs but rather designations to assist in a team mentality.

When we train we train hard and with passion.  When we have fun we have fun hard and with passion.  When we leave the field, we do so with laughter and passion.
