We have had many inquiries as to what it takes to join the team, so it is with this in mind that we hope the following pages will answer some of those questions for those who are interested. The following are some common questions asked when making an inquiry into joining the team;
Q. I have never played paintball in my life! I think the whole thing sounds great, but....
A. There is no need to worry. If you are wanting to join the Team and have no experience we are fully prepared to assist you. All Recruit members must attend four (4) weekends of base line training before becoming a Full Member of the Team.
Q. I have tons of experience playing both rec ball and tourney ball, why do I have to go through the recruit stage?
A. You need to go through the Recruit stage no matter what your experience level is. The Crimson Sabres talk and walk differently from other Teams out there. The goal of the recruit stage is to make sure you fit into the team, understand how the Team works and to learn how to talk and walk like the Team. Furthermore, this is also a tryout period, where we make sure you will be a good fit into the Team.
Q. I dont have a tactical bone in my body. I would like to join but i'm sure I would hamper the team due to my lack of knowledge.
A. Once again, no need to worry and no you wont hamper the Team. We are a Team, there are no lone wolves with us, we train as one, work as one, play as one and win as one. During base line training you will be taught our style of play and introduced to our tactical stream. Trust us, you will learn.
Q. My significant other is on the Team but I dont play or wish to. Is there any way I can be a part of the Team?
A. Of course there is a way you can be a part of the Team! We have a dedicated support group that assists the Team behind the scenes at all training days, events, tournements etc. This group looks after our Team well being, photography, Inventory control,First-Aid, Camp Security and alot more. Full Members of the support group are given member privaleges and are an integral part of the team. If a member of the support group wishes to have a Team Crest to wear, they must cross-train and attend base line training to be awarded the privallege to wear the Crest.
